Riho catches Shunichi after he throws himself over the edge of the roof of a building in order to protect Riho from being attacked by the breed that has possessed his body. She removes the breed from him on the way down by sucking it out of his blood and returns him to his normal self, revealing her true nature as a vampire. This is the last time Riho speaks to her former schoolmate after becoming a vampire.
